Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Party DJ (the "service"), operated by AI Lab at dj.ai-lab.com.au. By using the service you agree to these terms.
What the service does
Party DJ generates short music tracks from prompts you provide (event type, names, optional instructions, language). Tracks are generated using third-party AI models and stored against your account.
Accounts
You need a Google or Apple account to sign in. You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account. You must be at least 13 years old to use the service.
Pricing and billing
- Access is sold in 30-minute blocks at the price displayed at checkout.
- A one-song trial may be offered at a lower price.
- Payments are processed by Stripe.
- Because tracks are generated on demand and delivered immediately, purchases are non-refundable once a track has been generated. If generation fails before a track is delivered, your credit is automatically restored.
- Prices are in US dollars unless stated otherwise.
Acceptable use
You agree not to use the service to:
- Generate content that infringes the rights of any third party, including likeness, trademark, or copyright.
- Generate content that is unlawful, defamatory, hateful, sexual involving minors, or otherwise harmful.
- Impersonate another person, including using their name without consent in a way that would mislead others.
- Reverse engineer, scrape, or attempt to bypass rate limits, entitlement checks, or authentication.
- Resell, sublicense, or redistribute the service itself.
Your content and rights in output
You retain the right to use the MP3s generated for you for personal and commercial purposes, subject to the terms of the underlying AI provider (ElevenLabs). We do not claim ownership of the tracks you generate. You are responsible for ensuring that your use of generated content complies with applicable laws and the rights of others.
Availability
We do our best to keep the service running, but we do not guarantee uptime. The service depends on third-party providers (Firebase, Stripe, ElevenLabs) and may be interrupted if they are unavailable.
Warranties
The service is provided "as is" and "as available", without any express or implied warranty, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that generated tracks will meet your expectations or that the service will be error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, AI Lab's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the service is limited to the amount you paid to us in the twelve months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.
Termination
You may stop using the service at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if you violate these terms, at our sole discretion. Entitlements that have already been paid for may be forfeited in the event of termination for cause.
Changes
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows the last revision. Continued use of the service after a change constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia.
